A total of 15 bottles were made in 2024, filled in 3-liter bottles from wolf blood.

A red wine matured in barrique barrels as a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Turan grape varieties, the taste and aroma of which can be enjoyed with full cherry, acacia tree flowers and vanilla. We bottled it on September 25, 2024, and according to our previous experience, the optimal degree of bottling will be reached in 2030.

The year 2023 was an excellent vintage, so it has a high interior content and full aromas. During the one-year aging in barrels, the acids were nicely rounded. The barrels were made from Hungarian stemless oak in Jászberény.

During barrique barrel aging, the choice of the time of extraction from the barrel is very important. If it stays in the barrel for too long, the barrique flavor will settle heavily on the wine. If we take it out too early, it is barely noticeable and we can ask why we put it in!? As is often the case here, finding the golden mean is important. Master cooper Kalla Pál from Jászberény also contributes to the success of our wines, since we have been buying our barrels from him for years. New barrels are the thirstiest. During the first filling, an amount measured in liters is absorbed by the freshly burned oak wood, which must of course be replaced.
